Achieve a Beautiful New Smile with Dentures

Living without a full set of teeth can greatly impact your daily life — eating becomes difficult, your speech can become hard to understand, and you may not want to laugh or smile anymore due to embarrassment.

Dentures can solve all these problems and give you more self-esteem than ever before. They’re made from strong, natural-looking acrylic and other advanced materials to restore your ability to talk, live, and eat comfortably.

Serving patients in Stuart, Jensen Beach, and surrounding areas, Dr. Burke and our team want to help you start enjoying life again with dentures.

Types of Dentures

Explore our different types of denture solutions designed to meet the needs of your unique smile. Whether you need to replace a partial arch or full, Fresh Family Dental has a treatment for you.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are designed to restore a small number of missing teeth while you still have one or more natural teeth in the upper or lower jaw. They’re held in place using a hidden clasp, but can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance.

Partials help maintain the position of your natural teeth by preventing them from moving into the gapped areas. With our partial dentures, you’ll be able to share your smile without hesitation.

Full Dentures

A full set of dentures replaces an entire arch of teeth so you can enjoy eating, speaking, and laughing. Also referred to as complete dentures, they’re removable and easy to attach.

Full dentures can only be worn after your gum tissue is healed following your extraction. Dentures allow patients to replace their entire smile with an affordable tooth loss solution.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Implant-supported dentures are used to replace a full arch of teeth, but they’re held in place using dental implants. Using dental implants provides remarkable stability, keeping your teeth firmly in position, while also providing stimulation to your jawbone to strengthen it.

With implant-supported dentures, no adhesives are necessary so your dentures won’t be removable and they won’t slide around when you’re eating or speaking. Additionally, you can clean your new teeth with daily brushing and flossing, just like your natural teeth.

Removable Overdentures

Overdentures are another option for securing a full arch of prosthetic teeth using dental implants. Unlike implant-supported dentures, overdentures are removable.

They’ll remain securely attached to the implants all day long, but you can take them out for sleeping and easy cleaning at night. When you wake up the next morning, all you need to do is snap in your overdentures to their fixed implant base.

Denture Candidacy

If you want to enhance your life by replacing your missing teeth with an affordable solution, then you’re a good candidate for dentures. Full, partial, or implant dentures will give you a fuller, brighter smile that you’ll be happy to share with friends.

Whether you lost your teeth due to an accident or a dental infection such as gum disease, it can really damage your self-confidence. Our natural-looking dentures will revitalize your life, allowing you to do the things you love.

No one should live with a complete smile, and with our denture advancements, you won’t have to any longer. Dr. Burke will examine your mouth to fully understand the condition of your dental health to create a detailed, personalized treatment plan for you.

Maintenance & Repairs for Your Dentures

Caring for your dentures at home is simple. However, your maintenance routine may vary based on the type of dentures you have. It’s important to take care of your dentures properly to increase their longevity and reduce the risk of infection.

How Do I Clean My Dentures?

Removable dentures, including partials, complete, and overdentures need to be removed for cleaning every night before going to bed. Simply brush them with a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove food and bacteria and soak them overnight in a denture solution or cold water. This will ensure they maintain their shape and don’t dry out.

If you choose fixed, implant-supported dentures, they’ll be permanently attached to your implants and cannot be removed by anyone except Dr. Burke. All you have to do is brush and floss your teeth like you normally would to keep them clean. Additionally, continue to visit us at Fresh Family Dental for regular checkups.

What Do I Do if My Dentures Get Stained?

You can use a special denture cleanser for stain removal. Soak your dentures in the solution and then brush them thoroughly.

My Dentures Broke, How Do I Fix Them?

If your full, partial, or overdentures break, please don’t try to fix them yourself. Give a call to our office right away at (772) 905-3655 so we can schedule a time to look at them right away.

Dr. Burke will fix the problem or replace your dentures if necessary. Attempting to repair your dentures yourself can lead to further problems.

Replacing Your Dentures

Sometimes patients aren’t completely satisfied with their current dentures and want new ones or explore other options. Replacing your removable dentures with fixed ones using dental implants will improve your quality of life.

With secured implant-supported dentures, you won’t have loose dentures that move around when you eat or speak. These dentures integrate directly into your jawbone using dental implants, providing the most durable base for your new set of teeth.

We’ll be happy to assist you with learning about your dental plan if you have any questions. We also offer a membership plan that entitles you to discounts without any limits, waiting periods, or third-party problems encountered with traditional dental insurance. We also offer convenient financing through CareCredit, a third-party provider who helps patients pay for their treatment dentures at a monthly rate.
